The Deeper Benefits of Addiction Recovery
Healing goes beyond quitting - it’s about rebuilding from the inside out.

Craving Reduction
Retrain the brain’s reward system
Ketamine can help reduce substance cravings by interrupting old patterns and restoring neurochemical balance.

Emotional Healing
Address the pain behind the addiction
Many people use substances to numb anxiety, trauma, or depression. Ketamine therapy helps surface and heal those emotional roots.

What is ketamine, and how does it help with addiction recovery?
Ketamine is a dissociative anesthetic used to treat a variety of common psychological conditions, such as depression, anxiety, and PTSD. It can support addiction recovery by reducing cravings, negative thoughts, and behavior patterns, and help with co-occurring mental health conditions that fuel the addiction.
How is ketamine administered in the recovery program?
All treatment is delivered on-site by our clinical team. Depending on your plan, ketamine is given as intramuscular (IM) injections or intravenous (IV) infusions, with continuous medical monitoring during a ~2-3 hour visit. For some patients, we may use Spravato® (intranasal esketamine), which you self-administer in the clinic under professional supervision followed by an observation period. Your visit also includes preparation before dosing and integration afterward to support your recovery.
Is ketamine an opioid?
No. Ketamine is not a member of the opioid family.
Is ketamine addictive?
While it is generally regarded as less addictive than many commonly used substances, such as alcohol and cocaine, ketamine can be a physiologically addictive substance when used daily outside of a controlled and monitored setting. Kadelyx is committed to providing ketamine infrequently in an evidence-based therapeutic context, which does not result in the development of physiological addiction.
Are ketamine-assisted recovery programs safe?
Yes, ketamine-assisted recovery programs are safe. Ketamine treatments are conducted in a safe, clinical setting, led by medical professionals.
Are ketamine-assisted recovery programs right for me?
If you struggle with Alcohol Use Disorder (AUD), Opioid Use Disorder (OUD), Cocaine Use Disorder (CUD), or Cannabis Use Disorder (CUD), a ketamine-assisted recovery program might be for you. It can also help with co-occurring conditions such as treatment-resistant depression, anxiety, and PTSD.
How much do ketamine-assisted recovery programs cost?
Kadelyx offers two recovery programs: the Ketamine-Assisted Substance Use Disorders Primary Diagnosis Treatment, which costs $3500, and Ketamine-Assisted Substance Use Disorders Primary Diagnosis Treatment, including Secondary Diagnosis Treatment and an Integrative Medicine Recovery Program, which costs $11,500.
