Confused about the issues some other reviewers have had. I’ve always had an easy time with the office/logistics side of this place. Reception is friendly. Pretty standard policies. Never had a billing issue, which is practically unheard of now. I absolutely adore Samantha. I’ve made more progress with her in the last year than I have in ~10 years with other practitioners. She’s a great balance of personable and professional so that I trust what she says, but it doesn’t feel sterile or impersonal. She’s up to handle anything I can bring to her!

I cannot speak highly enough about Psychotherapy Innovations, and particularly Dr. Doug Malm. I have attended individual therapy and group interpersonal therapy with Dr. Malm. I have also attended group DBT therapy with Cynthia Kiddoo. Tabetha, the warm and welcoming face of the office, is such a pleasure and makes every office visit comfortable and simple. Every experience I have had in this office has been incredibly valuable. I came to Psychotherapy Innovations with the goal of changing my life for the better forever. This team, most especially Dr. Malm, has helped me to make that a reality. I am definitely in the best place ever in my life, and I couldn’t have done it without the help of these wonderful, kind and caring people. I am so thankful!!

I have been seeing Julie Espinoza-Malm for about a year now for borderline personality disorder and depression and have been able to make immense progress thanks to her help.

I like how I am taught how to deal with problems and my emotions rather than only being told how to deal with a specific problem that I have going on at that moment. It’s like being taught how to fish rather than being given a fish.

The texting service they provide to contact her when help is needed inbetween sessions is incredibly helpful and she always replies to texts in a timely manner. It is a very nice and needed perk to have.

I was taught DBT by Cynthia, who is very knowledgeable about DBT and teaches it very well, along with being very skillful at guiding people through meditation at the beginning of the DBT group sessions.

The reception desk workers are very kind and professional along with being very organized. I get nervous talking to people and the receptionist desk workers being this way is an immense help in easing those anxieties.

I would highly recommend this place to anyone dealing with emotional regulation or mood issues.
